Run an AV test.

Probably not worth doing, Doogee is one of the brands that have spyware and malware baked into the OS.

For example:

The best advice is to avoid these bargain bargain basement phones like Doogee and Leagoo. They are built with almost no QC, and support is atrocious.

It seems like a good phone. I had never owned a smartphone. I bought this one to view my UI/X app prototypes on it as seeing everything on the desktop can be misleading. Now I am saving up for an Iphone.
a 6S is like 169pm @ vodacom

Got this phone since my 32gb Honor 9 lite always runs out of storage. Went with a blue one to switch it up looks really nice. Ran a Dr Web full scan and it found nothing. Also installed Sophos and it found nothing so far. Minimal bloatware as well seems only Opera Mini and Opera Branding app is installed. Android is unmolested and close to stock even stuff like Smart Lock works. Bluetooth headphones work with the android media volume control which is great.

I am enjoying the phone. So far so good. It seem powerful because I am able to play F1®Mobile Racing

How do I secure my privacy in case I lose the phone? I have downloaded a lot of social networking apps and banking apps signed in.

I would rather look for an older Samsung S5/S6/S8

Or if you are on a tight budget a lower down Samsung.

Having 3 cameras makes no difference if all 3 are honestly crap. And no taking vibrant colours doesn't make it better. Taking real colours make them better. That's why the iPhone tops, and that's why you spend 500k for a decent cinematography camera mainly just for capturing real colours.

TBH nobody buys a budget phone to use it as a camera. Most phones, even the expensive ones, have carp cameras. You can buy a point-and-shoot camera for a couple of R1000's and take much better photos than most phones. Adding R5 or R6k onto the price of a phone still gives you photos that are ... meh.

Rather have a phone that works well as a phone and a camera that works as a camera.
