Are DSTV scaley bastards or what?

stopped my dstv this month, will miss the sport :( but even that is not worth R500 a month, and it will probably continue to increase
 
* Sigh * The wife not too keen on the HD PVR...I guess she has a point...will cost over R5k with installation...then its R560 a month for it. So I see her point...but kinda ***...hate missing all my programs. Hopefully this new service provider blows MC out the water...bunch of sharks!!

shot - dont think it cant wait though, missing out on some seriously good sport...
 
ODM won't have the same sport as Supersport, or even the same quality to start with since Supersport will have wrapped most of it up in exclusivity contracts
 
These are all the reasons why I dont have DSTV. Only reason I can really see for getting it is if you are a sports fan. All the sports I want to watch are not on anyway so I dont bother. If I really want to watch something, I head to the nearest pub thats playing it with friends. I have more fun and still works out cheaper

ive never been a fan of TV - but i find myself getting older and more comfortable on the couch with my girl instead of behind my pc. This has led me to loath switching on the tv as local television is nothing short of utter rubbish. I love my documentaries, sport and news channals - dont give me mindless television, i dont want any of it.

So DSTV seems to be the only route...
 
My wife and I do that as well :) But we have set up a multimedia PC that streams to the XBOX in both the lounge, and bedroom. The only problem is getting things to put on to watch. But still, A full season of our popular TV shows still works out cheaper than DSTV
