Are games too short?

It depends on the game in my opinion.

Sometimes I feel like phck... when is this game done?

Dragon Age is fun and gives you the option to complete the game quicker where some of your side quests are still available after you klok the game.
So for this type of game, I'm happy with its length.

As for other games...

Don't like short games, its like watching a short movie. If game is entertaining the longer the better, if its not i don't care how long it is.

Lost interest in DA: Inquisition because it dragged on for so long. I don't mind a short game if the quality is great...

I know the feeling of expecting too much from a game and then feeling cheated after the end credits. For me, Homefront was a very good game, but it was very short for me.

No such thing as too short. Too short for who? Is there a standard to game lengths now?

Criticize the game where due, i.e generic gameplay, linearity, story, fail QTEs.

Are games too short?

Sounds like The Order: 1886 is going to be a short trip, but how does it compare to other titles?

There are too many games coming out. Short games are best so you can play more.

I'd rather play 10 games for 10 hours each, than 1 game for 100 hours.

Consoles are aimed at the casual mass market, games for it are bound to be short.

The Order: 1886 can't really be used as an example in a blanket question like "Are games too short?"

Games are generally too long for me.

Twenty hours is about my maximum.

Story titles of course.
