We always wait for a season to complete. To me binging is watching continuously. One episode a day is not. I think the concept of releasing an episode a week is antiquated. It was fine in the days when the majority of television was individual episodes with little or no connection to each other.

Do you prefer to wait until an entire television season drops before you watch it, even if it means hoarding each episode until the season is complete? Or are you content to watching each episode as it is released?
Well, now.... to binge or not to binge.... that is the question!

It all depends on the show I'm watching. Some things you just CANNOT wait to watch, so hoarding those episodes just isn't possible. Some shows just watch better if you have the entire season. And of course there's the meh shows that you don't care either way, so you collect all the episodes and it sits on your storage device forever and a day until you either realise you just don't want to and delete it or you have nothing better to do and you watch it.

And then there's of course the rewatching! Now I fall into that category. Where I have all 15 seasons of a show like Criminal Minds or CSI and I will not stop until I am through all 15 seasons and completely burned out.

I have to say, this whole lockdown business was great for my binge watching. I went through all the seasons of CSI Vegas (and the movie) and Leverage, all 15 seasons of Criminal Minds, rewatched The Witcher, did all 3 seasons of Forever Knight, and now I'm binge watching Moonlight. I'm halfway through Psych's first season (only 5 more to go there) and I still need to binge watch Buffy and Highlander and DC's Titans, amongst other things.

Oh, and I did Lucifer's 5th season too. I do love it when Netflix releases an entire season in one shot. Hulu too. Very helpful.

So to answer the question, yes I binge watch. A lot.

Enjoy watching a good British series in one go for example "Strike" - all 4 seasons in one day - it is SSSSOOOOO good!!!!!! Then me and my wife enjoy watching French series e.g. Cherif, Candice Renoir and Italian series e.g Montalbano, Don Mateo, etc. Binge watch it from www.wlext.net

Guess I kind of binge watch, when I watch a series I don't usually watch another series but I only watch series when I have my breakfast and supper so it's only 2 episodes a day max

Binge watched Barbarians on Monday. Sad now because it's only 1 season.
If it's that good Hollywood might fix it and I'll be able to watch it in English.

Ag Dammit, it's foreign language? I don't mind though, just thought it was another show in the same vein as Vikings.

1 Episode a week is just crappy, then you have to try and think back what important happen last episode.

What really p!sses me off is when they show you what will happen on the next episode when you finish the current one and have to wait a week wtf?

Yeah, I skip past that. Why the hell would they want to show spoilers?

Very occasionally. Maybe once in a year if there is something to watch that I like. Then Only max of 4 episodes of a series then I get bored watching the same faces.

If I'm not that busy and have some free time on my hands (e.g. during "lockdown - level 5") I prefer to binge watch, since I'm a collector of TV series or movies that I deem quality "collectables" (for various reasons).

Also, for TV series, it does have the benefit of speeding the process of finding out if a particular series is any good (or not) - since some good shows out there take too long to pick up and become interesting (and may just start to reveal just how good they are towards the end of the first season - e.g. The Wire).

I just started watching 'Lucifer' a few days ago, was blown away by 1st episode of season 1, am on episode 5 right now and am already bored by it, since it took an odd & unexpected turn to mediocrity in episode 2 and forced me to drop my rating immediately. But I will watch the whole season of course, like I mentioned, because it may just change still, and live up to episode one.

But will you wait for the entire season to drop before you start?

Take Star Trek Discovery for example (not Picard because that’s rubbish). Discovery is a once per week show. Will you wait and watch it after they’ve all aired?
Some shows are so good and addictive that you can't wait for the next episode - e.g. The Boys, and, like you said, because they're only released one episode at a time - i.e. one per week... and so you are forced to watch them as they come. But on the other hand if you are really busy and know a new season has just been aired, you have no choice but to wait for the season to finish and THEN binge-watch the hell out of it when you get the time.

I watch when I have nothing to do, might be 10 episodes at once, or 1 episode a month. I go through sitcoms fast, as I watch 1 or 2 episode in the morning, with breakfast/coffee.
I can relate. When I am eating or doing something that may require me to take my eyes off the screen frequently, I watch sitcoms - for the main reason that they do not require that much concentration and there is no possibly of ever getting lost (because you missed a scene or didn't hear something "important" that may have been said by one of the actors/characters).

I don't watch that much but if I really enjoy the series, I will finish it quickly.

Some of the series I finished from start to finish over the last two years are:

- Silicon Valley

- Explained

-Mr Robot

-Homeland

I actually finished the four seasons of Mr Robot because of lockdown. I started with Homeland around January February and finished the final season around July.
