I don't delete photos so maybe? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

How many photos in your LR catalog?
I don't use Lightroom.

FWIW I archive most things at the completion of every event/series/season. I've just finished uploading the 100k images I took in July. To be fair though that was an unusually busy month and I had to shoot everything in raw and jpg.

Yes.

Saw a post about it being bad digital hygiene....

Out of interest what did you arrive on for archiving and storage. A combination of NAS and cloud storage?

Prior to getting fibre it was all portable hard drives but I've started using cloud storage for the more recent stuff. Still, it's slow going because I've only got a 40/20 line.

I checked my 640MB HDD folder, there are files made in Fine Artist and Creative Writer as well as Bio Menace / Commander Keen save games dating back to 1996. They're archived elsewhere as well. I think the only thing I've ever "deleted" is uninstalling games and leaving their save / config files behind.

I've been considering scanning all my old photos and dumping the prints thereafter. I have physical albums taking up a lot of space.

Still have my cds and the hard drive consolidation of the TV rips. TV rips that I have mostly replaced with 480p avi and then 720p mp4 x264 files and for some x265. That I have copies off. TV rips are important though, the rips include Irene Bester and Prim Reddy - what do you mean delete?
