Windows said Windows 10 would be the last windows so, no. I will treat it as the last ever Windows

Under the hood Win11 is the same as Win10. So they're not wrong. It really doesn't matter what Marketing decide to call it, "Win11" is just Win10 with a facelift.

I got it as I was doing MCITP Enterprise Administrator at the time and it was the latest OS so was part of the exams.
But to be honest I never had issues with it. One of the lucky ones I guess.

It's coming embedded with Teams AFAIK, so maybe that's partly why?

Yip, the default will no longer be Skype and they are using Teams instead.

I'll probably migrate to it if I don't have to upgrade anything. I cannot wait for the usual blowback of people with the usual "my <insert device> from 2002 doesn't work anymore". I'm hoping Microsoft draws a line in the sand for Windows 11 to avoid an expectation in terms of device support or performance.

I will upgrade my Surface Pro as soon as it's available, but I will hold off on upgrading my gaming machine.
