ANCYL in Limpopo warns anti-Zuma protesters

Anyone marching against President Jacob Zuma will be “taken care of”, the ANCYL warned on Wednesday.

“We are warning those that will be marching for the removal of the president of the ANC that they will not leave Luthuli House in good condition,” the ANCYL said in a statement, referring to the party’s Johannesburg headquarters.

It would “take care of them and teach them proper and correct politics of the congress movement”.

Good luck with the marches tomorrow. You are going to need it.

Hear, hear. If you are not going to attend the march, at least be honest about why not, i.e. I couldn't be bothered, I feel self-conscious about being seen taking part in anything out of the ordinary, it would take me out of my comfort zone, I prefer whingeing online or in the break room at work.

I will be at work. That is my reason.

we get it dude, you are scared, and you are hiding behind work.

now, everyone else is leaving you and your scared a$$ alone, so stop quoting everyone who is actualling doing something to change the country and tell them your reason is because of work, honestly, no one cares. we know you are a spineless POS that will only complain online like a typical afrikaans person.

No doubt there will be violence and I suspect Zuma's private security (SAPS) will either turn a blind eye or lend a hand.

Trying to find a corroborating story, but I heard in SAFM this morning that the Durban mayor has threatened to have anyone involved in anti-Zuma activities arrested....

If I thought it would make a difference, I would. But this is like farting in the wind. JZ is not going anywhere.

LOL. Sure. Scared. :crylaugh: Whatever. Why would I care what you think? Enjoy your march. I am not sacrificing a day's pay for this. And yes, I will still complain about the state of affairs and there's not a thing you can do about it ;)

EDIT: And I said it's because of work only because he requested people state their real reasons. Nothing more, nothing less. ;)

Many thanks.

I will be writing to the DA in regards to this, she needs to be charged for her statements... they are not acceptable and must be illegal in some way

Complain online like a typical Afrikaans person. LOL :crylaugh: Don't worry, I will take it a step further and voice my outrage in front of the television as well :crylaugh:

A lot of divide and conquer nonsense in this thread with some people showing their ANC mentality of if you aren't with them you are against them. Protest action doesn't need 100% attendance to work if you feel passionate about this issue go and march if not so what. If you have other obligations that's also fine.

Do you have facts to back that up, or are you just being a typical racist white guy? Seriously dude, the SAPS has great policemen on its force - have you ever engaged with any of the hard working men and women who serve us while you're sleeping off a hangover on a Friday night? The JMPD will also be on hand in Johannesburg, for example: are they also 'Zuma's private security' or do you have another insult for this group (who I am confident you also know nothing about)?

The ANCYL will be the ANCYL, they're young revolutionaries and will make revolutionary statements for political credit (fast track promotion within the ANC). Take everything they say with a big pinch of salt, or go report specific statements to the police for inciting violence (as the DA has already been doing constructively).

IF we live in a state of national emergency where an entire march is going to be wiped out violently, then shouldn't we know about it sooner rather than later? Right now a lot of middle class white people are still shopping at Woolies Food and complaining about clothing quality at Sandton City, pretending that life is reasonably normal. If we all need to get the hell out of Dodge for the sake of our lives, it's time that specific curtain is pulled back. Are you going to be the one doing the pulling or are you going to hide in the background and make the kind of ill-informed statements which are EXACTLY why black South Africans have such trouble trusting white South Africans?

Lots of scare-mongering going on to try scare people off, don't believe it, most of it is empty words. It points to the fact that the ANC themselves are scared (of the people uniting), it's the last thing they want, so take it as encouragement that this is the right thing to do not as an excuse to run away.

Correct.
