Mentioned the same, if you search Durban it comes up on twitter but struggling to find a article although it was apparently reported by sa news.

I am afrikaans.

and I get it some people cant go, but slootvreter feels like he has to tell every single person that has an opinion that he has to work and cant afford to go march.
to me, that reads as he is scared to go.

kind of like those overly macho men who say things like "being gay is a choice" or "it just takes discipline to not be gay" you know those people are at least Bi...

I've sent it on to the DA even though I'm sure they are aware of it.

I don't defend it, but I have read about politicians warning people not to go march. But I am sure the SAPS won't be an issue. But you calling this racist? That is just fcking hilarious.

I will tell everyone who draws up silly lists of reasons why they think people don't want to go march and then having to be at work is not in their list of reasons. If you think I am scared, think what you want. I REALLY do not care.

It's a typical white racist overstatement which is not based on any facts but just far-right tin-foil hat conspiracies. You already say you don't defend it, so what good sense is there in saying something like that on a public forum? What is the guy trying to indicate?
