How ignorant are these people?

Black First Land First (BFLF) supporters have been disrupting anti-Zuma protests on Friday; claiming on their Twitter feed that the marches are paid for and organised by white people and aim to restore apartheid.

You've got BFLF members defending the Guptas???? And calling this entire thing an effort to restore apartheid? Are they seeing the same photos and videos we are?

Who's the podgy bald guy with the beard? The one who looks like he's had one too many puddings?

Why is a landless black people's movement protecting an Indian people's swish suburban compound? Scratches kop. Cat's out of Bel Pot bag.

"Jacob, is that you?"
"Yes Atul, what now? I'm too busy laughing at the comedy on TV."
"Well I'm not laughing. I've got some people outside that are disturbing my money counting. Do you have a rent-a-crowd you can send my way?"
"Errrr ... how about Black First Land First? They said they're eager to serve the cause."
"Anybody. Hell, send Pravin with a pickaxe for all I care."

well i for one am extremely amazed and proud of the turn out of the people of this country. the country has spoken now let's see what happens next.

I agree Celine. I'm extremely proud to be South African today. However, at the DA march Mmusi warned that this is not the end, it's only the beginning. He said that they're planning at least two more marches (including one on the Union Buildings as well), and people are going to need to be prepared to get uncomfortable for a while to help keep building the momentum for change.

I think today has answered a lot of the cynics, but it is nothing in comparison to what is needed AND what is possible (if everybody joined in together). Big Business has to come to the party and let people "work from home" even if they can't publicly affiliate themselves with the protest movements, and then we can start to see some real numbers: not 20 000, but 200 000.

Far from it, this is only the start! Very proud of everyone who attended and united as one...

More and more, I grow certain that BFLF is a Bell Pottinger creation. It fits in with the timeline when Zuma allegedly approached them, and their rhetoric, along with the public stunts they've been pulling, were tremendously effective.

They raise issues surrounding racism and land redistribution without actual points, and they argue alternative facts until they're blue in the face. Decolonised science and education may well be a Pottinger idea as well.

The BFLF movement has always supported the pro-Zuma ranks and Guptas, BlackOpinion have been heavily sided with them. The BFLF is the ANC's method in displacing the EFF supporters base.

BLF to picket the homes of Pravin Gordhan today

Black First Land First (BLF) will today start protest actions against the coup plotters who want to remove President Zuma in order to install a puppet president who will continue with apartheid and colonialism. They want President Zuma gone because he has called for land to be returned and for and black people to unite.

Pravin Gordhan is the corrupt former Miniser of Finance who, together with the ratings agencies, wants to create further economic hardship for our people so that hunger will make us fight each other while the whites continue to own South Africa. To this end, there is a clear plan hatched in London to change the government in South Africa like the way regime change was effected in Brazil. In this respect, Pravin Gordhan has sold his soul to the imperialist forces.

We say no to the coup! We say no to colonialism by the criminal ratings agencies.

BLF calls on Pravin Gordhan to do the following:

1. Stop mobilizing for counter revolution

2. Confess to all the corruption he did as Minister of Finance

3. Expose his London based handlers

4. Tell the nation about his plot with Johann Rupert and British imperialism to overthrow the South African government

5. Tell the truth as to why he protected banks that stole from the South African Reserve Bank like ABSA

6. Stop the plans for black on black violence

7. Tell the nation why he gave his daughter, Anisha Gordhan, a R10 million contract from Treasury

BLF shall today hold peaceful pickets at both the houses of Pravin Gordhan in Pretoria and in Johannesburg.

Next week, BLF shall picket the houses of Trevor Manuel and the office of the Moody’s ratings agency.

BLF says Hands Off President Zuma – we want LAND now!

Issued by Black First Land First, National Coordinating Committee (BLF NCC)

"7. Tell the nation why he gave his daughter, Anisha Gordhan, a R10 million contract from Treasury"

Is that just an outright fabrication, or is there something to it?

Given that it's bflf, it's an outright fabrication

September 5, 2016

The economic terrorist attack in South Africa has been engineered around the isolation of the Gupta family as the most corrupt institution and to paint it as responsible for state capture. The media owned by white capital has been at the forefront of this campaign. Opposition parties, like the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), have openly teamed up with white monopoly capital in targeting the Gupta businesses. We have seen how Julius Malema had asked Johann Rupert to fund the “Guptas must go” campaign. The truth is that white capital wants the Gupta family out of the mining sector so that white hegemony over the sector is protected.

The hypocrisy of the attack on the Gupta businesses is apparent when one looks at the fact that those saying that the “Guptas must go” are silent on the plunder and corruption of white capital. Threats of occupying ABSA Bank are now a year old but not even an ABSA ATM has been occupied. Honest people would also ask why is there no “Lonmin must go” campaign? Lonmin was even allowed to address the commemoration of the Marikana massacre this year. The workers of Marikana were murdered to defend the profits of the London based Lonmin. We must ask again where is the “Lonmin must go” campaign?

No surprise to how things went down at the Gupta’s compound today.

Wow Fulcrum, that is scary reading! The BFLF are truly deranged! It's like every single harebrained conspiracy rolled into one enormous ****pile of 'logic' and anger. Just compare this to what everybody participating in today's peaceful rallies for Zuma to step down have called for and how they have handled themselves with dignity and others with mutual respect (all except for Zuma - who deserves none of it).

Given that it's bflf, it's an outright fabrication

Seems a bit of an own-goal, really. I get that the overseas treason, etc is good at muddying the waters, since it can't be disproven, but stuff like this obviously can.

God. Some of this **** makes me a little bit murderous...

You know...even if the pessimists are right and it achieves nothing, it was really great to be out in the streets with other South Africans (and tourists tagging along lol) united for a cause. It's something I've never really experienced before.
