50 plus years in the business, building and operating all kinds of networks, I prefer the work-horse tools of powerful desktops and laptops - leave all social media to wife and next generation. The "Yebo Gogo"
format suits me well.
Yes I'm on face book. Only to have something else for logging in to some other website.
I never use it. Unlike Twitter which allows one to clear the 'login' option, Facebook blocks half the page which probably irritates other users as well. Heaven alone knows why they do this.
Yes, it allows me to stay in touch with family and friends I don't really want to go and actually see, so I can stalk them instead. I also belong to the suburb I live in's page so I can get information about local things, or ask questions about local things that interest me or bug me, ie how to contact my local Gov Representative when I want to complain and so on and so forth. I also belong to a group for one of my fav authors and she and the rest of the community interact and share updates and jokes etc with each other. I enjoy that. It is the only social media I belong too really.
I do have an account, i use it mostly just for news, and new tech updates, and since I'm a developer I'm scouting to see new features for apps i do for clients and also i use it to play it's games when i need a few minutes break to detach my mind from the code i do all day, since they are there i also read what people do with their lives and have a good laugh of mediocre happening in this world.
