256 bit or even 128 bit AES encryption. It would take every single computer on planet earth till the end of the universe to crack that.
To mess with the IRI you connect via a proxy in a different country, free or paid. Some services would not release information to SA law enforcement no matter what - only from local courts.
The encryption I can agree with but how many people really implement it or are even aware of how to successfully encrypt the IP packets and then at best it will be end to end because the answering pc will have to be able to deal with the encrypted information.
How ever even if you want to connect to a proxy in a different country you are still in SA and you still connect through the availible providers whether it be through Satellite or Cable. When a interception system is built they don't just hook op to one or two E1's they hook up to all availible links that go into our out of the country and a satellite connection is in essence multiple E1's that are multiplexed with WDM Equipment. IRI is something that unfortunately that can't be messed with because when the call is made somehow it has to be routed to it's final desitnation so at some point it will have to say " I wanna go here" and bang dialing and dialed number is captured.
