Argentina vs Mexico

So.... because we have 2 errors in 2 high profile games we must now adopt technology?

The history of football is littered with bad decisions and we have to live with it. It's just tough luck.

1966 Germany vs England

Back pay is bitch, ha?

This was 1966 & from there as moggie said there have been a whole lot of other errors

Now I can't feel bad for Mexico bcos I want to see Argentina progress to Quarter Final.
Clearly Argentina are the better side by this performance.

There have been other errors in the group games as well. Also Man Utd supporters will remember the offside that gave Drogba the goal.

and the handball of that kid. Man U guys always seem to forget that

Uncle septic? You lot do know that there's a decision board who makes the decisions, the same board who voted for SA to host the WC, Blatter is just the face who announces the decision to the world.

Please go read up before making stupid comments on a game and organization you clearly know absolutely nothing about

Personal attacks. What makes you a football expert?

Do you know how the President is elected? Basically through member countries...it's easy to easy there is lots of bribery and corruption that goes on to get the votes. And do you know who sits on the FIFA board?

Yep yep! People do like that there is one man behind it all

GOSH!!!
I HATE! this commentator! its like he's smoking and taking drags on his cig!

Time has moved on. Football is nothing like it was. It is time for FIFA to catch up or be replaced.

You right it is nothing like it used to be... have a look at some old games from the 50's, 60's and 70's. There were brilliant players and they got the shyte kicked out of them from all angles. Keepers were not protected and could be barged into the goal. The ball was made of leather...

What have we got now? Some very skilled players but the majority are skilled divers and fall over if the wind blows too hard. Overpaid prima donnas.

And when things don't go their way, they perform as if they are in a soap opera.

Again... tough!

Mexico players look dangerous in their own penalty box, passing to each other looks like they'll make a mistake easy.
BTW well done to Diego Maradona so far.

You do know he also has a major influence over them.

I'm selling tin foil hats at half price if you're interested

I know everyone thought he would fail

so do you want us to go back to the "good ol days" where the ball is made of leather and everyone gets beaten up.
Dude its the 21st century things change.. things are changing! we cant cling onto the past of the 50s and 60s! things were so different then!

Yes it is a respected investigative magazine because most of the newspapers here don't do their job properly unlike the UK. As usual you are showing your true ignorance here again.

Still waiting for that link where you claimed the majority of football supporters would not support the introduction of technology... oh wait, you just made that statement right out of your arse.

EDIT: This discussion needs a new thread. Back on topic: Argentina are playing very well!

Why not try TV technology on FIFA2010 on your PS3 or wii or XBox to see how it will work?
