That's why ArmA needs the numbers! I've seen overseas servers running with 120+ people in a game! So GDI, get your ass out of the year 2142, and come back to reality! :D :p

Bare in mind that the OPFlash2 devs are not the same guys who made OPFlash1. Codemasters retained rights to the OpFlash name and that's why Bohemia went with the name 'Armed Assault' (Bohemia being the OpFlash 1 & Arma devs).

IMO that's a good thing. Arma seems like it was made in a back garage over a weekend to make a quick buck :mad:

LoL...I've never touched it (watched it played a lot) but I remember meeting you at Bull's place in Milnerton for that gathering in Dec '06 was it? At least I was sure of meeting a dude called GDI. Anyway I was getting dirty looks left 'n' right that day because I kept dissing 2142. :D With my head hung in shame, I must admit to being a bit of a BF2 junkie back in the day.

But yeah, OpFlash2 vs. Arma2 IMO is going to be very interesting. I have high hopes for both but to be honest my faith lies in Arma2 simply because we have an inkling of what to expect and there is substantial beta gameplay footage. I'll be getting both no doubt.

My 2009 gamelist will be (in no particualr order):

Arma2
Opflash2
Black Shark (flight sim made by Lock On devs)
Storm of War:Battle of Britain (flight sim made by IL2 devs). This one I've been waiting for for literally 5 years and will be the hottest flight simulator ever to be produced in the history of mankind, IF and WHEN it is ever released.
