Arnold Schwarzenegger is coming back - as Conan the Barbarian.

Universal Pictures says California's former governor will star in "The Legend of Conan," an action film being developed for the actor. Deadline Hollywood was the first to report the news Friday.

The 65-year-old Schwarzenegger starred in two previous films about the mythic hero: 1982's "Conan the Barbarian" and 1984's "Conan the Destroyer."

Schwarzenegger told Deadline he loves the character and is "honored" to play him again.

Damn! We are getting old yet he is as proactive as can be. Do not know how well this is going to play but hope for the best?

Every time I see one of Steven Seagal's latest movies...this is my reaction "Why doesn't this man retire already? "
Hope Arnie's new movie doesn't provoke the same reaction :o

I watched the two oldies way back in the 80's/90's

Recently I watched the newest Conan.

Suffice to say, the older movies was way much better than the new ****.

Arnold ... also in another upcoming movie. "Ten"

Agreed. The new guy although good was a "puny little man" compared to arnie. I guess we grew up with it so we are a bit biased :D

The guy has a killer attitude towards life, Western philosophy of be all you can be and then some.
Have always admired the guy.

The new one sucked balls

I feel many of the new films try to have Conan and Co. (some female) playing alongside him.
The James Bond's with Pierce Brosnan and Halle Berry went the same way, James Bond and Co.
And..
There will always be one Conan, one Rambo and one terminator, any other actor trying to fill these parts will never come close.
