In my opinion, which I am entitled to have, I think he is acting like a big fscking baby in order to milk it more. I have had the misfortune of visiting more than one cell in my past and it isn't fun at all but unless you are getting the schit beat/raped/cut out of you I don't see how it can ruin your life. Sorry, I just don't think he is looking for sympathy here, I think he is looking for more than R50K. I probably should have. Anyway, just what I think. That's all.

What a tough guy

I would also not be to happy if I was arrested and thrown in prison for no reason.

but don't you think it happens way to often that people are often illegally arrested in SA? could his voice be the one that kicks off the transformation of how the police arrest people?

Not trying to be a tough guy. Talking from experience. I would like to know how it ruined his life. I don't understand how it ruined his entire life. He's being a drama queen to get paid in my opinion.

Yeah it happens a lot. Some innocent folk get locked away for years. That's messed up! I doubt this story will put a dent in anything other than the petty cash.
 
Been locked up in a cell overnight. Apart from that feeling of being trapped, it wasn't half as bad as waiting in a queue at the Home Affairs for an ID Book. Guy is being a pu$$y.
