Article: All apartheid victims must be compensated

Apartheid victims demanded on Friday that the state honour its reparations obligations to everyone and not just those identified by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC).

"We reject regulations which fail to provide the full gambit of reparations needed... as a result of apartheid atrocities," the SA Coalition for Transitional Justice (SACTJ) said at a briefing in Braamfontein.
 
I've been thrust into a country where many would deny me opportunities because of past wrongdoings committed by those who happen to share my ethnicity. Where's my cheque?
 
Apartheid has made it difficult for me as a white male to get a job... I DEMAND COMPENSATION!!!! I HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT

Did all Jews Get compensation or just those in concentration camps
(serious question)
I understand that some people that was affected horribly more so than some government fat cats would feel they also want some of the pie. I’m just wondering if the pie is finished who will turn on who.

I agreee with you.
I just want them to ask the right people where the money has gone that should have been theirs.
Taxing the taxpayers is kind of stupid as the black middle class is larger than the white middle class and they would have been affected too. So they will tax the people that was affected to give back to them.
 
Demand, demand and demand.

And if you don't get it simply burn, burn and burn.

And if all else fails then deny, blameshift and pull the race card.

They got Israel, this was their compensation. I think there might have been money as well but after WW1 Germany had to pay Billions in compensation that basically sunk them and laid the groundwork for WW2.

Interesting idea though... wasn't getting SA enough ? I mean the ANC basically got handed a fully functioning country with industry and assets.
Is that not compensation ?
 
Actually, I also demand compensation.

1) I was integrated into a society which advocated institutionalised racism against my will by parents who had themselves been equally brain washed.
2) I was educated in a flawed Calvinistic education system which supported the racism by brainwashing me into it's way of thinking and by creating a sense of false alarm in the form of the threat of Communism and the Swart Gevaar.
3) I suffered emotional distress and mental anguish at being exposed to the daily scenes of violence and hatred against people belonging to other so-called racial groups and the people who were supporting them or defending them.
4) I suffered ridicule and scorn for being a South African abroad in the late 1980's by people who saw me as a white oppressor despite hearing who I was or what my personal convictions were.
5) I suffered unlawful detention and arrest at University in the late 1980's for participating in a protest march and standing up to police officers who were perpetrating violence on peaceful unarmed protestors.
6) I suffered ridicule from Afrikaans speaking people for being and English speaking person with a Dutch Surname and for my preference of English and my rejection of apartheid ideology.
7) Etc. etc... I am sure I could find multiple other things. :)

So yeah.... where's my compensation? :mad:

ITs the pie. They want some of that. Seeing the people like the village idiot prosper while the real people that struggled is still in shacks makes them also want some of it.
 
The pie was consumed years ago... now we are tearing apart the kitchen and the house and giving those away as well.
Soon there will be nothing left but a dusty hole in the ground.

If the nats had "hitler gold" or something similar that could have been used.
That saying about taking from peter to pay paul has gone wrong here. It would be taking from Peter to pay Peter.

Another question is if everybody gets compensation will BEE and AA and all those policies be abolished as that is part of the compensation currently.

I can understand people like the woman living at my house being pissed. She is about 60 and has to date received nothing.
