Move to the thread about motoring otherwise this is just spam to promote some motoring hack.
rpm made a thread that AskSteve is now our official motorinig goto guy. I agree it should be in the Motoring section. Also, hows some road tests rather than press-releases? If anyone here is even remotely interested in cars I'm sure they have one of the many car sites in their RSS feeds etc.
Methinks this is to get the google bots coming up with more hits.
Could be, I don't see how the Google T1000 would care if it's in Current Affairs or the Motoring section.
Hmmm.. I am a KIA fan and have the outgoing Cerato (love it) but I think they are taking a chance with those prices as they are priced too closed to the more traditional brands in SA (VW, Toyota, Honda etc). Even though they are now quite well established in SA people still tend to go to what their old toppie recommends. The competitive pricing of the older models was enough for people to make the switch so they have done extremely well over the last few years but I think it might be too soon to start jacking the prices up as the other Asian manufacturers have.
That said, the new Cerato does look impressive and I doubt many cars will touch it ITO spec. I will test drive it but it will need to be amazing for me to part with R290k...
One last gripe - where the fusk is the sat nav, it should be standard in a R200k car these days and I expect the Koreans to be in the lead here. Even entry level Renault Cleo's come with satnav now days.
Thread title? What has this got to do with explosions and gunfire in Centurion?
It doesn't sort of - but if this drivel was in the motoring seciton where it belongs I most certainly wouldn't be wasting 1s and 0s commenting in it.
But of more importance, are the Sharks going to take the Bulls?
Thread title?

I agree, owns the current model myself.
The price tag of R260 k for the 2.0 is becoming expensive.
R290k really? That's much more than 220k I paid in jan 2012.
