Article: ANC cannot remain static: Mantashe

ANC secretary general Gwede Mantashe said the party cannot be expected to remain a static organisation, but should adapt itself to the current conditions facing the world, SABC news reported on Saturday.

Speaking at the memorial lecture to honour the party's fourth president, Josiah Dube in Nyanga in the Cape Flats, Mantashe said the ANC of today and yesteryear could not be the same, the broadcaster said.

The ANC seems to be getting better and better at stating the absolutely bloody obvious.
 
Mantashe is wrong, the ANC is not static. That would imply that, as an organisation, they are not moving in any direction or changing. That is not so. They have degraded into a corrupt and immoral entity and its members have gone from fighting for the rights of the people in this country to individuals who care more about power and lining their own pockets, starting right at the top, the president. So yes Mashante, the ANC is not static but is moving, albeit, in a negative direction.

Adapt to the current conditions of the world?? Which conditions in this century call for 10 wives? See, anc trying to be 1st world but always a third world mentality...
