Article: ANC misuse religion: DA

Religion is being used constantly by ANC members in politics, said DA delegate Rick Raubenheimer on Sunday.

He asked for an amendment on the party's open "unity in diversity" resolution at its 2012 federal congress in Boksburg.

"The church should be kept out of politics."
 
Religion has been misused for as long as it has existed because all the faithful are trying to impose their beliefs on others.

Children are brainwashed by their parents from an early age and most never recover from the ordeal.
 
Dr Verwoerd, John Voster and even P W de Klerk used religion when it suited them, whether it was to justify apartheid or bar black people from getting an advanced education, so we haven't progressed any.

Well the current mob are very keen on making sure that black folk don't get an education. So you are right, no progress.

It does create a conundrum, especially when you respect your parents' intelligence.

Those that killed the rabbit were infidels, you cannot judge a whole people by the actions of a few infidels, they were agents of satan set among the pure to lead them from the righteous path.
 
They will play the race card (to suite them), use religion, apartheid etc.. because when they get caught with the hand in the cookie jar... they have to divert attention.
