And this relevant today how? I surmise that the main goal of Mandela's youth league was to end racial inequality/apartheid and to bring about equal rights and freedoms for everyone.

What is their goal today? What have the "modern" youth league achieved or done which is any significance or importance to this country? They are an organization which are in a position to do A LOT of good and can easily assist in making this country great however most of them, just like the rest of the cadres are there for one reason only....self enrichment.
