These are the most important issues to the ANC. Housing and poverty are low on their list since the value of one human life means nothing to them. They killed innocent lives to be able to get to power so one more life means nothing. Only "the struggle" is important. Surely this is common knowledge by now... by past experience and present observation.
 
Some of the people I admire is Cecil Rhodes and Wolraad Woltemade (there's a hero if you want one). I also admire "Just Nuisance", but he's luckily not in CT centre lucky dog!!

Seriously if they wanted to bring down statues in CT, where would they start and more importantly where would they end?

Then I presume we cannot accept statues of Shaka.

And if the kill the boer song is part of their history then the statues must stay as they are part of ours.

The statues, Shaka, the boers, Mandela--all of it is part of our history and should remain. All of it.

I agree. We have a history, why try to hide it? It should be celebrated at best and remembered at worst.
 
It frustrates me how narrow sighted some people can be. We all live in this country that is what it is because of all the history that went before. So why must every town and street become something that nobody knows - we waste time reprinting signs and atlases and maps and forget the important things like caring for the elderly and the poor, and providing a safer country for all citizens, with jobs for them to uplift the economy. Instead we focus on TRIVIAL NONSENSE.

Yet, as much as some of our people moan and complain about our history, ask them if they would rather be like us, WITH our history, or like Nigeria, or the Congo, or Zimbabwe - pick your African country. We are the most advanced African country - and that is because of our history - so celebrate it instead of trying to bury it.
 
It shouldn't be destroyed, rather put into museums as reminders, like the rest of history.

No...Capetonians really, REALLY dont give a ****.

What we do take exception to is people who do give a ****.

If something that illustrates that history happened is preventing you from reconciliing with white people, then we genuinly...and I mean this from the bottom of my heart....genuinly don't want to know you. Have a nice day.

South Africa isn't an independant state? Thats news to me.

No, I was referring to making the WC independant to the rest of the country.

Either you misunderstood the point I was making in my original post, or I am misunderstanding what you're trying to get at....because I don't see a link between what I said and the 12 members of the CAPE Party.
