Article: Banning racial groups from employment: exercise caution

Pretty sure a company like Woolies would have a good idea of the facts before posting the ad?

When we advertised our last position, we had a preference for hiring a female from a previously disadvantaged category, but we advertised the position for everyone.
We also interviewed everyone who applied.
Fortunately the best candidate for the job fit the EE requirements as well.
But that is how the hiring should be done... according to "who is the best candidate?"

But to be honest this whole BEE thing is a massive PITA.

Nice of you to interview everybody, at least you managed to waste more of your time. And why are you worried about EE etc? Does your business employ over 50 people/breach the revenue threshold?

Racism in broad daylight. Imagine what would happen if that was advertised in England

Never mind England. Imagine if the "colors" would have been changed! Like in helping the minority at the majority's expense. Unthinkable

Lol. They are a bunch of hypocrites. This is our companies lawyers. : D
