Does it matter, If I uttered that words in any country I will be locked up on my return. Unless the ANC take serious action this time I can only believe that what he say is "condoned". And the new possible president Kgalema Motlhanthe to be want the buffoon back?

Malema must 'hand land back' to Khoisan

Expelled ANC Youth League president Julius Malema must hand back all the land he owns to the Khoisan, AfriForum Youth said on Tuesday.

"Malema's ancestors also migrated southward and arrived here in South Africa without land," chairman Charl Oberholzer said in a statement.

"For this reason, we are of the opinion that Malema cannot lay claim to the contributions that white people have made to South Africa."

The organisation was responding to comments Malema made during a wedding in Harare, Zimbabwe.

Oberholzer said Malema was "romanticising violence".

"History is complex and to spread a distorted version of it simply amounts to vandalism against every South African who wants to make a positive contribution in this country," Oberholzer said.

"As young people we are here to stay and we will not run away from our problems either. No community should step back when it comes to defending the right to peaceful co-existence."

How exactly did he manage to cross the border if he had an arrest warrant / bail application issued? Doesn't leaving the country contravene his bail conditions?

Unfortunately not, he just has to notify certain people he is leaving.

This is not how I interpreted his statements. I think the title of this thread along with the article that accompanies it make statements that go beyond what Malema said.

Actually they killed people to get that land and those minerals. We are not going to give them money when we take the land back because it will be like we are thanking them with money for killing our people.

Some white people in the past have killed black people to take their land but the majority of the present white population of South Africa have not done so. The whites that Malema speaks of are not the same legal entities as the white population currently living in South Africa. The current generation of black South Africans have not lost land and the current generation of white South Africans have not taken the land of black South Africans so the current generation of black South Africans cannot "take back" "their" land.

The average white South African is a consumer of, rather than a contributor to, civilisation. Black people do not owe white people gratitude for introducing the modern way of life to Africa. All people in the world owe gratitude to the small number of thinkers and doers who contributed to civilisation, not to any specific race or nationality.
