Article: Comedy Central cans Gareth Cliff show

Comedy Central has canned former radio host Gareth Cliff's TV show, the "Gareth Cliff Show", a month and a half after it was launched on the channel, according to the Channel24 website on Wednesday.

The show, an internet radio program shown on TV, reportedly failed to attract enough viewers wanting to listen and watch Cliff on the DStv pay-TV platform.
 
Why? There are much worse shows on TV.

Usually when Naspers have a product not selling, they leave it outside to dry indefinitely.

If I had to take a guess: they cancel a show by not renewing a contract for a second season, they can a show by "*** vergeet die geld en penalties kry net die *** van die telly af"

Never understood the logic of making a TV show of a talk show radio host sitting in a studio talking into a mic.
Daft concept, doomed to failure.
