Article: Constitution not a static document: Zuma

The Constitution is not a static document and can be amended in accordance with the spirit it conveys, the presidency said on Friday.

"There is nothing untoward about referring to wishes to amend any part of the Constitution by any political leader or political party," spokesman Mac Maharaj said in a statement.

Oh boy, how unexpected...

Next it'll be how the law is not static but elastic like the threads of the poor under garment keeping wife number five's jiggly bits in check.

Go back to primary school you flippin' dunce.

Another ANC brainfart.

Then be clear on what you want to change you illiterate idiots! Then we can decide whether that would be in national interest and we can vote accordingly!

No!

Lifelong presidency are of the table and so are further whitey suppression and land grabbing!

................ but we all know it's just a matter of time before [-]Dingaan[/-]Zuma will show his spear to the public!

The problem is he doesn't want to amend the constitution to benefit his own constituency.

Not that anything can really benefit them except them playing their part a western style economy ... and not for them to keep on being dependent of social alms (oh sorry, I mean, grants).

He wants to amend the constitution to benefit himself.

As long as economic inequality exists because of the inequality that exists between an inequality between who can say ... without treading on ... what cannot be said.

What, a whole day and the ANC bleaters haven't made any comments ....... how surprising

He is right but, asking for the power to amend the constitution without specifying how you would like to amend it is suspect as well as patronising. It's also a bit of a joke coming from someone who is known to abuse his position for personal gain. The ANC will only lose support these elections.

Not a chance. The dumb millions will still vote for the biggest twats as always.

We are going to get ****ed properly if the constitution changes.... ( not that we aren't being ****ed over right now)
