Article: Consumer Protection Act: R3mil limit

Any business making a turnover of more than R3 million will not be protected by the Consumer Protection Act, the trade and industry department said on Monday.

So, they've finally set the amount. That's good news, and R 3m is better than R 1m that I guessed they would decide on, but not as good as the R 12m it think it should be.

This limit introduces a few anomalies into the administration of the act, but nothing that's too difficult to work around.

Is 1 April the date that's been set, because IIRC it has to be before 26 April?
