Article: Don't bribe a SARS official!

A woman was fined R5,000 or 10 ten months in prison and was also given a two-year suspended sentence for bribing a Sars official, by the Germiston Regional Court, The Star newspaper reported on Thursday.

Domenica Ciocca, 62, bribed Sabelo Khumalo with R5,000 so that she could receive a R129,000 VAT refund on her husband's company Giancarlo Construction.
 
lol ... she didn't offer him enough!!!! 5G for a 129G payout ... he probably wanted more!
