Article: EFF will slaughter eight cows to launch party

The slaughtering of eight cows will mark the entry of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) into South Africa's political landscape in Marikana, North West, on Saturday, the party has announced.

"We are slaughtering on Saturday and launch on Sunday," EFF leader Julius Malema's spokesman Mbuyiseni Ndlozi said on Friday.
 
Awesomeness... more bloodletting...

I know its cultural and all that, but I'm very much against this slaughtering of animals on site for celebrations (and yes I know that most of the animal gets consumed anyway)...

Doesn't malema have a cattle farm? He must have won the tender for supply and delivery of them in a free and transparent process.

So I guess those cows are going to cost the EFF millions, and won't be delivered on time.

They would, believe me he needs the cash to settle his debt!
 
As I recall, Mugabe gave Malema a few cows. But... they are still in Zim.
 
And tells us everything we need to know about the new party. Still the same old barbaric traditions, the same old barbaric politics and the same old barbaric mindset that has no place in this day and age.

And how do they expect to do that. If their bridge building skills are anything to go by then i don't have much hope.

To be fair the other parties make the same promises they can't deliver.
