In South Africa the employee has a lot of rights. I doubt something like this will get them fired.
Employees have done a lot worse and when they are fired they get paid a massive paycheck because the employer was unfair.

Do companies in SA check the Facebook profiles of employees or prospective employees? I know some do in the US and the UK. People have even been fired for what they posted on Facebook. Not sure if its because of the content or because they are stupid enough to post garbage with their real names. As for what people put onTwitter, well the first 4 letters say it all
