this form of "tracking" has absolutely no accuracy at all - one could say "My Tire exploded, Awesome." and it would pick that up as a "happy-value" ?
a lot of people on the internet is sarcastic, and this tracker won't be able to see that

the "tragic death" of MJ also doesn't make me sad - sure, it's sad for him, but my nose is OK and i'm alive as well.

Averages are never 100% accurate, its just an indication
 
So in other words theres a 50% chance of this tracker collecting accurate data.
"What an awesome day, my toilet exploded, gran died and the mouse ate my cat, i couldn't be happier."

No, i dont think its gonna work
 
Don't know about you guys but most facebook statusses I see are bitching about something or other... (like a mini FML)

They should make a Gross National Sarcasm tracker...
