His doctoral thesis betrays a great deal about the institution that awarded it at the time ...On the other hand, Blade is living proof that (ostensibly) having the paper doesn't mean all your marbles are correctly bagged.
It's hard to be more wrong than Blade is about matters economic. Anthropology occupies that segment of his mind normally reserved for Theology. His notions of Business and Commerce are incorrectly tagged with Prejudice and Bigotry markers and filed under Delusions.
He's not entirely to blame, though. It's hard to find a college that provides an Education and not an Obfuscation. Which is why the loopiest ideas lurk in academia.
But our Blade is a practical man, not an academic. Little wonder he's a professional politician.
Qualifications fraud poses a danger to the credibility of the country's education system, Higher Education Minister Blade Nzimande said on Wednesday.
"Unless Government, employers, institutions and citizens can feel confident that individuals have earned the qualifications that they purport to have, the entire system will lose legitimacy," Nzimande said in a statement.
