Article: Farmworkers told to continue strike

Western Cape farmworkers have been encouraged to continue striking until their demands for a higher daily wage are met, it was reported on Monday.

The Building and Allied Workers Union of SA (Bawusa) told workers on Sunday that a return to work may scupper their chances of farmers giving in to their R150 wage demand, the Cape Times reported.

90% of the farm workers have been at work all along.
I dunno who these dudes are that are striking, but the large majority of them are not farm workers.
Probably just paid strikers, looters and criminals.

We've heard this from the start, and it could be true. It shouldn't be that hard to prove, though, surely? So why don't they? I'd imagine it would be in the best interest of the DA administration and the farmers to highlight this?

In my opinion the mine strikes and now farm strikes are just the prelude for an orchestrated mine and land grab zim style.

Watch them squeal ever worse when thousands of jobs are lost as a result of their actions.

I haven't seen a single of the large retail stores with a shortage of produce, so I don't know about the effectiveness of this so called "strike" :D

We know how much that miners were getting, how much are the farm workers earning? How much are they asking for now?
