The number of forged matric certificates is increasing, and the situation is unlikely to change soon, it was reported on Friday.

Only reason for a matric would be to get a job I'd assume, so this shows people are desperate to get jobs.
On the bad side, it also shows our our education system is failing to educate over 23% of our population (over because some people wouldn't bother with getting a fake one)

Shows how desperate people are to get work. Many people realise only too late how important it is to complete matric and one does not always know the circumstances as to why they did not.
