Article: Free universities from 2011: Sasco

yes, then free houses, cars, food, cell phones, dstv, no taxes and a cushy job.....where do I sign up?

Do these guys really know how much a University needs to run ? I mean the government does pay for a certain amount of Uni fees already don't they. :erm:

Nationalise the mines, problem solved.

Like the state owned mines that cost more to run than they make?

Why dont they just drop the whole SASCO thing anyway? everyone knows they are just another arm of the ANCYL.

Awesome, make this happen and I will be first in the queue for my free tripple certified MBA.
Oh, I will also need food and a place to stay, and somebody needs to pay for my books and stationary.
And clothes, and a medical-aid or some working health policy, including dental (I cannot study with a toothache).

Thank you so much South African Students Congress.

There they will solve the work crises too.. all us working people will go study and they can give our jobs to the unemployed.. and the rest can go study too... oh wait you have to pass grade 12 for that...

Oh hell!! I will be able to go to UNI!!!!YAYAYAYAYA

IDiots..

Dammit, I forgot transport, I will be needing transport money as well.

I cannot wait for the South African Students Congress to organise this.
Exciting stuff indeed!

We will also need to take better care of the students who are still attending school, it's not easy walking ten miles then having to take care of little sister when you get home (or whatever the situation and it's complexity may be), we need to provide them with cash to get them going too.

It's not my fault his/her parents bred like rabbits or decided to sleep around, get aids and die. This is nothing but shifting of responsibilities.

... it's kind of the societies(people living under a particular nation) responsibility to ensure that the parent doesn't do this crime unto the child (this is what people are too shallow and ignorant to realise).

That would mean changing peoples culture and in SA I can't see that going down well. You will most likely end up being called a racist!

I actually agree with free education. Don't know how the country would pay for it but I think it would actually be beneficial. An educated populace would mean smarter voters. Think about it.

They'd need to implement a merit based application process though. But knowing our gov it would probably be race based.

I presume the call for free education includes free lodging, free books, free transport to and from university, free food, free clothing, free laptops etc.

Do these lab experiment rejects actually understand there is no such thing as free ?
