A caring government would have sorted out the Pikitup labour mess long ago, the African Christian Democratic Party said on Tuesday.
"If the ruling party really cared about its citizens in Joburg, it would have fixed the Pikitup mess when allegations of corruption and nepotism first surfaced in 2009," said ACDP chairman Meshack van Wyk in a statement.

This is not the first strike action and definitely not the last.
In other news Eskom workers demand 16% and public servants reject government wage increase offer. Brace yourselves people. Pikitup is going to look like a picnic when the lights go out in the middle of a bitterly cold winter.
I dont blame Eskom employees, with 50% increases on electricity rates over the past few 2 years and their bosses receiving massive bonuses, if Eskom is going to milk the country they may as well share their takings with their staff
