Article: Govt tackles land reform challenges

Government has set out to find new ways to deal with some of the difficulties it faces in its land reform programme. It has taken a grassroots level approach, which it hopes will uncover deeper issues and be the catalyst for innovative solutions.

"We are all aware that land reform has not always produced the intended results ... it is therefore imperative that we find more pragmatic solutions for land reform," said Rural Development and Land Reform Minister Gugile Nkwinti.

Stop telling us what you're GOING to do ... and start showing us what you've actually DONE!

Actually I prefer that they tell us what they are going to do before they do it, thanks. Once it's done it's too late to stop them.

This but with a bit of, "this is the independent analysis we've done to weigh the pros and cons" with a little "this is how we're going to do it" mixed in with, "this is what we've done so far in preparation to make sure it works" would be just grand, methinks.
