Article: Growth warning by Zuma

President Jacob Zuma issued a sober warning in his state-of-the-nation address on Thursday that South Africa needed a superlative effort, and unity between all sectors, to turn the economy around and create jobs.

A flu-ridden Zuma said it was a fact that the country would miss the target of creating 11 million jobs by 2030 -- as set out in the National Development Plan -- unless the economy grew threefold.
 
Yes Jacob, we will miss the target, because you lot are bloody incompetent, you fsck the economy up at every turn, you make this place hostile to investment, etc etc...

He's just saying it as he knows the target will be missed by miles. The cANCer can then turn around and say, see, we told you so....
 
No surprise that every target is missed by our goverment. Except the target of being the maximum corrupted goverment...
 
Pretty hard to meet an employment target when you sit back and allow unions to price its members out of the job market. Pretty hard to meet economic growth when you sit back and let unions turn this country into a warzone and frighten off investment. Pretty hard to get anything right when you are an ineffectual bunch of numbnuts.
 
I thought the title said, "Growth warning IN Zuma" ... but alas.

Pretty hard to meeting targets when you focus on only personal gain...
 
So no good news for is then Zuma? Where in the name of all that is good and holy did they get to a number of 11 million. How was this derived? And what process was executed to ensure this target happens. He is just standing up there rambling on about the need of the economy to grow but does absolutely nothing to ensure this, as a matter of fact he does everything to ensure that the economy will not grow...Anglo divesting from SA etc.

Who exactly is he warning? He and his cronies are the policy makers which will largely determine if we make targets or not.

Should he then not rather aim that warning at himself?
 
Zuma may not be perfect but he is doing fairly ok. Corruption is a bit of a issue but corruption is all over the world! What do you want? To go back to the old system? FFS

the anc with him in the lead single handedly are responsible for chasing away investors with corruption, crime, murder, hijackings, car jackings, strikes, threats of taking foreign owned companies and property, etc.
