With the South African Weather Services having predicted a 60 to 80 percent chance of rain for most parts of the country this weekend, the City of Johannesburg is preparing for possible flooding.

The city has set up a Joint Operations Centre and a flood management task team, which will help in the event of floods.

Hope Beaufort-West and the rest of the dry Cape will get excellent rains soon.

Yup, it will be, the soil's still wet. I think Mozambique will be flooded again.

It's easy, but for that you need money. To get that money you need to use tax money. No way the government would ever allow money to be used for something worthwhile only on parties and what not

Just for the record, I love Cape Town. It is my favourite SA city without a doubt.
