Article: How to protect yourself against Ebola

I travelled from Washington to JHB via Dakar. At the passport control area an officer asked me to remove my glasses to inspect my eyes before I went to the counter. Possibly checking for signs of fever etc?

Considering the distance from Liberia to Richards bay the minimum time for that journey would be about 25 days.

While theoretically the incubation period is up to 21 days it is usually about 10 days. So this crew mate must have been sick for quite a while, or maybe a stiff on board? Its a pretty unlikely situation for the Captain to have sailed past Capetown, PE, East London and Durban with ebola on board?
