Article: IEC has capitalist tendencies: Malema

Someone will pay it for them.

You think? They are asking a lot. The money for Malema to be out of debt and the party fees.
Pity if it happens it will be anonymous, I would like to know which of our tenderpreneurs will spend that money on them

Precisely. They certainly have the funds, they just don't want to pay. Not because they're short of party-funding, but because this is a great sympathising political tool...*

*Yes, intended...
Rubbish, a new party like the EFF should channel funds towards campaigning and marketing itself not towards the IEC behemoth's coffers. Established parties are already receiving millions from the IEC from which they can easily register for the elections. The EFF does not enjoy that generosity from the IEC hence the court case.

so all new parties should get a free ride
sounds good ...

It's quite a lot of money. I am shocked that so many parties make it to the ballot at that cost.

Most political parties get funding from the wealthy with an agenda. The ANC have the Guptas for example and Agang and the DA recently shown to get from the Kirsh family. The EFF doesn't hold a positive agenda for anyone holding wealth in (or out) this country. That could be why they are light in the pockets.

Can't this little piece of schite be crushed by his rolex or something?

So I have a question - what does our constitution say with regards to election rigging? i.e., What are the repercussions for the affected parties or political parties that are caught doing so? In the case of a political party, are they disqualified from taking part in the rescheduled elections?

If that were the case, by the very same token, they should not be looking for funds to settle the leader's behemoth personal debts either.

You are taking things personally guy. Right now the country needs this. Let me try my best to explain why. The ANC (ZANC) has to much of a strong hold in South Africa that is why they do the sh#t they do. Pinning our hopes on the DA to come save us is a pipe dream at the moment. Wether you like it or not the DA is not yet about win a lot of the black youth or people to its cause, simply because of our history. Dont think that we have forgoten that the National Party was absorbed into there. Forgive me if I am wrong. Now I know the DA wont bring back aparthied that would be impossible to achieve, but all people have to think is that its possble and that is what the ANC has done succesfully. They have spread doubt and thats all they need. Now Juju has come and promised a whole lot of stuff we all know is near imposible to deliver but so did the ANC. We need Juju to erode as much support from the ANC as posslble.

No, we don't need more corrupt politicians making false promises and causing more trouble. We really don't. We need a mature, educated voting public...

The same way as the MDC eroded the support for ZANU-PF in Zim? Zimbabwe was fine until ZANU-PF's power was challenged. How do you know the ANC will not go the same route as ZANU-PF?

If the want to contest nationally and in all provinces and cannot get

600 people to donate R1000 each
or
1200 people to donate R500 each
or
2400 people to donate R250 each
or
12 000 people to donate R50 each
or
a mix of the above

they don't deserve to be in the elections.

unfortunately I suspect that a mature voting public requires that the premise of "ANC" vs "unified opposition" needs to be broken first. Having a few corrupt politicians making false promises and representing a force of opposition that rattles that cart might be a perfect tragedy that jolts the thinking of the electorate.

I suspect they do this to keep every Tom, Dick and Julius from wasting peoples time. Imagine how long the ballot list would be???

I say if the EFF is serious, they must pay up.

They need to get out of the habit of expecting everything for nothing.

They also need the money to run things as well.

Sorry Julius, you are the weakest link, you out
