The High Court in Pretoria ordered on Monday that a driver's licence seized from a man accused of killing five joggers be returned to him.
Sibusiso Langa, a mechanical engineer, was allegedly drunk when his Mercedes-Benz ML500 ploughed into the group of joggers on October 23, 2011.

Except for the case that this is ridiculous and that his licence should been suspended for lifetime or may only drive under supervision from a fellow passenger with a drivers licence. This is not why I comment.
Recently a lot of these articles contain photos/pictures/images and on various news websites, but the images never illustrates to the article and is sometimes misleading. Many people read with their eyes and relate to the picture before even reading further than the headline… Sometime I feel that this really gives the wrong impression to what is reported…

This is more in regard to racial issues, not that I mean anything wrong about it.
I have once read comments on a news website which got way out of control due to certain people commenting on the article relating to the image… The image itself threw 90% of the commenters off the article content and they only commented on the headline and by taking the image in regard…
At least the majority of the MyBroadBand forum participants are grown up and educated…

This guy has not being found guilty and his court case is still ongoing, JubJub also had bail during his case.
Expect this to also drag on for 3+ years before a verdict is reached.

Did Jub-Jub get his license back?
Don't think his was ever taken away, this guy lost his with his passport and drivers license since he is a american.
When JubJub was found guilty then his license was cancelled

And here again. Is it the law or the judge who is stupid. Why on earth pardon someone who is intelligent enough to know drinking and driving is againist the law. In his case, its worse he is drunken murderer.

What article are you reading?
If he's guilty, they will probably revoke his license. Last I checked, though, we lived in a country where the law states that you're innocent until proven guilty. So until the court finds him guilty, he is innocent. Whether the judge personally agree or not, he must apply the law.
