Former ANC Youth League president Julius Malema joined the ANC at age nine 1990 and moved through the ranks of the Congress of SA Students, where he served as national president.

Really... he was forced to by his family if you ask me.. I don't know any 9 year olds that have ANY political leanings, let alone actually know about politics.
