Article: Kgalema Motlanthe support grows

The branches of senior ANC leaders close to President Jacob Zuma have nominated his opponent, Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe, as ANC leader, the Sunday Times reports.

Motlanthe was nominated by branch 42 in Boksburg, whose membership includes ANC secretary-general Gwede Mantashe. He received an "overwhelming" 90 votes to Zuma's seven, according to the weekly.

Zuma and his fellow jungle primates will not fail to bully anyone set against him into submission.

In a perverse way I think that it is better if JZ stays in power because he is so utterly incompetent and corrupt, that the longer he stays there the more peoples eyes will be opened about the ANC.

Very good point there.

If Zumbie had one braincell he would see the poetic justice in this.

Disgusting creatures these ANC supporters/members are.

"We were a community of people who ranged from the totally illiterate to people who could very easily have been professors at universities. We shared basically everything. The years out there were the most productive years in one's life, we were able to read, we read all the material that came our way, took an interest in the lives of people even in the remotest corners of this world. To me those years gave meaning to life."

Good enough, but smart people never want to be president...
