Article: Kill the boer, Kill the racist, Kill Afrikaans

This sort of "pamphlet" is not unique. I remember during the dark days of apartheid, some sad sack or two would publish and plant a pamphlet stating that all white people must be killed etc just to create fear (or whatever the motivation was). Best to not give this sort of thing the attention it is seeking.

It needs to be investigated either way. Whoever published or printed that deserves to have the book thrown at them. It's incitement whether it comes from black or white, and should be treated exactly the same.

I agree with this, but the AfriForum Youth approached the SAHRC with no evidence than a piece of paper.

Damn inconsiderate troublemakers that don't sign their hate speech pamphlets.

Love it. A classic case of nothing to see here, people. Go back to sleep.

The authenticity of this is debatable but one thing is for sure; if such threats had been made by the "other end of the spectrum", we'd likely be seeing something along these lines right now:

So let the SAHRC investigate?

Damn inconsiderate troublemakers that don't sign their hate speech pamphlets.

The article is making it puzzling:

The organisation's national chair Henk Maree said it came across a pamphlet on the university's Potchefstroom campus.

Was it reported to Henk, was it given to Henk, was it picked up by Henk?

Which resulted in this:

SAHRC spokesman Isaac Mangena said he was not aware of the letter.

"We are not aware of this matter... By the end of the today [Monday] there was no complaint lodged with the SAHRC."

Now we need to wait on this:

The university said it would comment on the matter later.

Okay wait - students pay premium fees to attend this Uni until they graduate after which they get their paperwork and fsck-off. What exactly is there to take back?

This paying thing is an evil colonial tendency.

I think Bar0n might be on the money here - this is in all likelihood the work of Racist, Afrikaans, Boer people trying to incite reaction. Like Envo :p

Yes. Sadly this is what people assume when you cry wolf 50 thousand times too often.

It kind of saddens me when I hear varsity students who still say "oh white people are like this.....they get this....." or "black people are like this....they get this....", really, it saddens me.

This is 2014, and people are still clutching onto racism :( :(

Well I hope they find whoever was behind the printing of what looks like a pamphlet....they honestly deserve to named and shamed.

Racism has been institutionalized by every presidency after Mandela, so what do you expect? There are more forms requiring you to enter race today than I can recall in my lifetime. It is one of the fields I intentionally spoiled on my census document. Screw them.

Sticking it to the man huh? I do it too.
