According to a source in the Cape Argus both generation units have leaks. Unit 1 having a 19mm hole.

Also according to that article Eskom has spent R44 million on sponsorship deals including R10 million a year on the "Proudly S.A" campaign. :erm:

Well the article said that it should not cause any power outages...

but it IS eskom...

Apparently only shut down for 14 day intervals.

If it was a complete shutdown it would have said decommissioned.
