Details of presidency spokesman Mac Maharaj's 2003 interview with the Scorpions were published on the front page of the City Press on Sunday.
The newspaper printed the contents of the then transport minister's grilling by the Scorpions, with an editorial note pointing out that it had already published the information in 2007.

So Mac attacks M&G threatening legal action if they publish the same facts as those disclosed my City Press in 2003.
It would be really interesting to know on what grounds they are/were going to lay charges. Maybe the ANC will simply change the law retrospectively to outlaw the previously uncontested publication? Roll on the Corruption Protection Act.
