Article: Magic mushrooms arrest

A man and a woman have appeared in the George Magistrate's Court for alleged possession of "magic" mushrooms worth about R20,000 on the street, Western Cape police said on Tuesday.

Captain Malcolm Pojie said the 25-year-old man and 23-year-old woman were arrested on Friday. They appeared in court the same day.
 
They should also have sent a warrant out against the fields that grew the mushrooms.
 
Hmmm, I feel really sorry for the people that are going to miss out on the 390g!

Even the adviser to the ministry of defense (David John Nutt DM FRCP FRCPsych FMedSci is a British psychiatrist and neuropsychopharmacologist specialising in the research of drugs that affect the brain and conditions such as addiction, anxiety and sleep) reckons that they are good for a person.

Now they probably have to resort to drinking alcohol...
