Article: Malema complains about intimidation

I saw a poster yesterday for this 'Economic Freedom March'. Again, it's jkust demand, demand, demand. We want. When are these guys actually going to start working for what they want?

The ones in PTA? Yea.. saw them. I like .. WE DEMAND!! No work... work is bad...

He is the last person in RSA to point fingers about intimidation.............

It was no just proposed, it was ruled upon in court

However, I am unsure if this would apply to the ANC YL as it is not a trade union. As such, the precedent has been set for any marches or strikes and a court would find against the league were the taken to court.

So it is now de facto standard practice, yes.
It says in the article "trade unions can be held liable for damage caused by workers during strikes.". But there's nowhere where it says unions must pay a deposit before they can strike.

And that, my friend, is interpretation of law. Don't like it? Then back to court we go as the metro police have the capacity to stop any march.

You must be joking - but would like to see them try stop this one

It is a deposit to recover from if there are any damages caused by the protesters.

I'd love to know how they handle the logistics of managing something like this...
