Article: Margaret Thatcher dies

Former British prime minister Margaret Thatcher died early Monday, aged 87, following a stroke, her spokesman said.

"It is with great sadness that Mark and Carol Thatcher announced that their mother, Baroness Thatcher, died peacefully following a stroke this morning," said spokesman Timothy Bell.

As Pallo Jordan pointed out, Thatcher did nothing for SA - she set back the liberation movement and thousands of lives were needlessly lost as a result. She gave credibility to the political 'homeland' thugs at the time, leading to atrocities and near-civil-war in KZn and Gauteng. She completely misunderstood the ANC and the likes of eternal greats such as Mandela. She will not be missed by me.

The UK like the USA saw the ANC for what they were, a terrorist organisation.
