Article: Microsoft offers web browser choice

People have always had a choice in browsers. -> www.getfirefox.com or wherever else you want to go.

I am no Microsoft fan boy.. I myself use FireFox, OpenOffice and the like on my main home PC, having said that I do believe Microsoft Windows is a Microsoft product and they can ship as many Microsoft products as standard with windows. The only part I may agree with is if Microsoft Internet Explorer still ships with Windows but during the installation process ask you if you would like to install it or not.

MS forced the USE of Windows and has a monopoly among PC operating systems. Next it forced everyone who used Windows to use IE by default. They then proceeded to change web standards to their image - to benefit them. This just tries to undo some damage MS caused.
 
How did Microsoft force the use of Windows?
